UT Challenge
So much to do and so much to learn. The UT Challenge organizes several workshops in collaboration with NIKOS to teach you about all the do's and dont's of being a real entrepreneur. With the help of our partners (the Golden Egg Check, EY, Thales, Koopmans TBI and many more) we want to enlighten you about several subjects. Keep reading to find out more!
We’ve already had two successful workshops. One regarding ideation and the other about business modelling. No need to worry, there are still 4 workshops left. Below you’ll find an overview including a small introduction.
Make sure to register for these workshops after you’ve logged onto the website. This way we’ll know which students will be present.
9 May – Lean start-up & prototyping
Koopmans TBI and the team of the DesignLab will be present at the workshop about lean start-up and prototyping. During this module, you will get familiar with the lean start-up approach by using the ‘Build – Measure – Learn Loop’ with elements of hypotheses testing, rapid prototyping, validated learning and iterated product development.
It’s also time to prototype your solution and test it with potential customers! The more you test your product, the more you will be able to improve it an create something valuable.
17 May – Finance
During this module, EY will teach you about the basics of financing your venture and other things needed to ensure the survival of your new business.
23 May – Pitching
This workshop has been added for all of you who would like to improve their pitching skills. By the help of Talentgroep Twente you will get ready to pitch at the final event. So, if you’re a bit unsure about your pitch, make sure you are present the 23th of May.
30 May – Network business development
You will learn that business relations is vital for your business model and that business development has different aspects in economic, social and marketing theory. The B2B case example of Inreda Diabetic, a venture developing a device that autonomously regulates your glucose level, will be used to illustrate the relevance of the network business development. Thales and Speakup will be present during this workshop to help you on your way!
All the workshops take place from 19.00 – 21.30 in the Gallery, Designlab.
