UT Challenge
After careful examination of all 50 profiles, multiple lists of pros and cons and a few debates, there it finally is: the final selection for top 20 projects of the UT Challenge. The chance of winning the Challenge is getting bigger each day. Since the start of the Challenge in February, we’ve seen a lot of small ideas turn into great concepts and promises of prototypes come true. How did we help students accomplish this? Based on their online profiles each project was judged on quality, overall completeness and of course the votes they managed to collect via social media. After this, the selection for the top 50 projects was made. Read more
While the projects were being examined, the students got their first chance to visit the workshop about ideation. The workshops have been an important part for the students to further develop their skills and work on their projects. We’re almost at the end of the race, but we’ve still got some inspiring and helpful workshops left. Read more
Apart from the workshops, all the student of the top 50 had the opportunity to speed date with our partner companies. This training day was organized so that the partner companies could finally meet the geniuses behind the projects and of course to let the collaboration between partner and student bring great insights and improvements for the students.
This day was a great success. Partner companies helped the students see a side to their project that they hadn’t before, and students got inspired to work even harder. Read more or check out this aftermovie
After the students had all completed their Golden Egg Check profiles, where the partner companies were able to see their complete business plan, it was time to make the final selection, which means it’s finally time to announce who the finalists are for the UT Challenge 2017. So make sure you soak in all the information you need to present you best pitch, because you’ll be standing in front of the jury in only 4 short weeks, good luck!
