Our modern society is quickly distracted, and technology changes faster than ever. A lot of seniors are struggling to keep up with this pace, resulting in isolation. Our aim is to bridge this gap by connecting these people to our communication networks with the familiar ease of posting a letter.

The solution

App een Oma is a device that will be placed at the home of the elderly. The device can receive text messages from, and send text messages to loved ones, in realtime! This allows granny to connect to modern day communication. She does not have to fiddle around with technology or fuzzy interfaces, all she has to do is read and write. Just like the good old days.
