Almost everyone likes to spend a day relaxing at the beach. The feeling of the fine-grained sand and the calming sound of the ocean recharges people from a tough working week. Although going to the beach is experienced as very pleasant, there is no reason that we can not improve this perception. After extensively brainstorming about small irritations that we experience at the beach, we finally found common ground: there is no good way to support your head when lying on your towel. Some solutions are by building a slope of sand for sake of lifting your head or taking a pillow to the beach. In those cases, the solution is not both comfortable and effortless at the same time.

The product that we have designed to tackle the inconvenience is the PillAirBag, which is a combination between a bag and an inflatable pillow. It comes in two different sizes, one for individuals and one family size bag, which is ideal for families going to the beach together. Our product is innovative by covering these two quality perceptions in a way that has never been done before. We combine the exact comfort of a pillow with the ease of taking your towel to the beach.
